Tea Garden of Darjeeling - Ex Darjeeling

There is no place quite like Darjeeling, which nature has chosed with care and blessed it with beauty and lush greenery of the tea garden. It is a fascinating place where one can visit Buddist monastries, tea gardens and watch tea being processed, spend days for bargains in colourful markets and handicraft shops or go trekking to high altitude spots near the border with Sikkim.
Day 01 : Arrive Darjeeling
Arrive in Darjeeling on your own. Rest of the day free for liesure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: In Darjeeling
Early morning you can leave for tiger hill to witness the spectacular sunrises over the Himalayas. Also you can visit Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastry. Later you may take a half day tour of Darjeeling and visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, the zoo, the Tensing Rock, Tea estate. at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: In Darjeeling
In the morning you can depart for a half day excursion to Mirik lake (on own). Enjoy boating on the lake (own lake). the evening you could meet the local people, indulge in the last minute shopping, or just enjoy the scenic beauty of Darjeeling.
Day 04: Depart Darjeeling
In the morning depart from Darjeeling for onward journey.
**Note : Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Zoological park are closed on Thursdays. Also the site seeing in the itenarary will be done on own.
