Sailodbhava Dynasty
Sailodbhava Dynasty - Ruling dynasty of Kangoda from seventh century AD.The kings were Ranavita, Dharmaraja, Madhavaraja and Dharmaraja. Mahendragiri was the capital. The Bhaumakara dynasty replaced it in 8th century. Kangoda was between river Mahanadi and Mahendragiri in the south and contained some parts of Puri, Ganjam and Koraput areas. They worshipped Sun god and were patrons of saivism.
