Sai Suredra
Sai, Suredra -Revolutionary leader, rebelled against the British rule. in India during the great uprising of 1857 . Born in 1794 at Khinda in the Chauhana dynasty of Sambalpur areas - was arresed and put in Hazaribagh jail, released by the revolutionaries. With the backing of the people he continued to fight till he was arrested and was awarded life sentence - died in the Asurgargh jail at the age of ninety on 18 Feb 1884. A great patriot, symbol of courage and dedication.
