Rath, MrutunjayaBorn on 14 May, 1882 in Puri district. Kavyatirtha in sanskrit. Teacher and eminent writer - died in 1924 valley in Jajpur district in 8th century AD. It consists of the hills of Ratnagiri, Udayagiri and Lalitagiri. It contains a fragmentary stone inscription -monument of Bhauma period. Door frame, images of Buddhist gods and goddesses, brick stupa and stone monasteries are discovered from excavation of 1957-60 by Debala Mitra. A tourist destination with all weather road connections.
