Toshali Sands

Orissa Province- The language agitation, the oriya movement and the efforts of the Utkala Sammilani culminated in the creaton of a separate state of Orissa on 1 st April 1936. The feudatory states of Orissa merged into the State of Orissa in January 1948-49.
