Nayak, Narasa. General of Vijayanagara army during the time of Salva Narasimha and became the virtual ruler of the kingdom from 1491 to 1503 after his master’s death. His energetic efforts to wrest the forts of Udayagiri and Kondavidu from Orissa failed.
