Nagara- One kind of temple architecture - quadrangular in design -prevalent in Orissa and in North India. The features are: projected side niches, parsva devatas ,motifs like Gajasimha ,Kiritimukha and Ganga -Yamuna. Kalinga school of architecture is a sub-class of Nagara style.
