Mukhalingam
Mukhalingam-Capital of the early Ganga rulers - now in Andhra Pradesh- is situated on the bank of Vamsadhara river. Famous for Mudhukesvara temple and temple of Somesvara – identified with Kalinganagar now in Srikakulam of Andhra Pradesh. Muktesvara temple- One of the beautiful temples of Orissa. (M.M.Gangully)-situated at Bhubanesvar. Long years of architectutral and sculptural experiences of Oriya craftsmen are crystalised into this faultless, elegantly decorated temple. The gateway of the temple is a masterpiece of Orissan art - a Somavamsi monument of eleventh century.
