Mahanadi- River- originates from Madhyapradesh, passes through Sonepur,Sambalpur,Nayagarh, Anugul and Cuttack districts - tributaries are Seonath, Hadso, Jonk, Mand, Sone, Lb, Ong, Tel, Saiki, Karandi and Sapua- touches Baud Athamallik, Banki and Cuttack - flows into the Bay of Bengal- 832Km in length. It’s branches are Kathajodi Birupa, and Chitrotpala- largest river of Orissa.
