Madhava
Madhava - Deity; a form of Vishnu with discus in hand. Nilamadhava is said to be worshipped by Savara chief Visvavasu.Madhava images are enshrined in the Madhava temple of Niali in Adaspur and in Salipur areas. Madhava cult was prevalent in Orissa{Khurda charter of Madhavraja of Sailodbhava dynasty}. Kantilo is famous for Nilamadhava. Narahari Tirtha popularised madhava cult during the reign of Bhanudeva 1{1269-1278}”.
