Beyond the Kurma Beddha near the northern gate, Koili Baikuntha is situated. It is said to be the most ancient place in Niladri. It is said that Nilamadhab was worshipped here by Viswabasu. The word Koili may be Kaivalya. In South India, Koili stands for the temple. According to a leend here Kri ‘ . shna once appeared before Radha ~n the shape of a Koili or Cuckoo. It is known as the burial ground for the Tty. During the Navakalevar e old’ images are buried here and new images are also carved here. Sri Gundicha Mandir : The temple bears the name of Gundicha Devi, Queen of King Il}dradyumna.
At the time of the Car Festival, the three deities Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra halt at Gundicha Ghar for 7 days and return to the main temple on Bahuda Yatra day. Sri Lokanath Mandir: This temple is only 3 kms away from Sri Mandir. There the presiding deity, God Sri Lokanath remains sub merged under water. On the Sivaratri day, a grand fair is held here. The phallic God becomes visible on the Siva Ratri day after Pankodhar Ekadasi.
