Jhulan Yatra Festival of Puri
This is observed in the Temple and the Maths of Puri for 6 days from the 10th day of the bright fortnightof Shrabana (June-July) till the first day of Bhadraba (July-August). On this occasion images of Vishnu and Laxmi are placed on a decorative swing in the “Jhulsan Mandap” and sway ot and fro to the accomapniment of music
