Panchalingeswar - 45 kms away from Chandipur lies this Shaivite Shrin famous for its elevating natural splendour amidst the lush Nilagiri Hills and fine lingams over which runs a continuously flowing stream. The Pilgrim has to lie flat on the rock parallel to the stream to worship the Lingams which is in itself and hair - raising experience. You could also see herds of elephants ambling way or moving up and down the Hill. At Panchalingeswar, you could also start your Trekking operation in the Nilagiri Hills.

Remuna - 25 kms away from Chandipur, Remuna is mainly identified with the shrine of Khirchora Gopinath. If has been a baston of Vaishnavism for centuries.

Sri Chitanya Mahaprabhu - apostle of Vaishnavism, his Guri - Madhavendrapuri and disciple Jeevaswami Goswami are said to have worshiped the Lord at Remuna. Khira a speical milk - based dish is the prasad of the Temple. The Kadamba and Champak trees inside the enclosure around the Temple emanate a floral fragrance which uplifts the spirits of the Pilgrims.

Nilagiri Nalagiri is mostly identified with the Jagnnath temple and is located near the Kuldiha sanctuary. Kalidiha is also an ideal base for Trekking. Nilagiri was the capital of an ex-princely state.

Sajanagash 5 kms away from Nilagiri, you will find Sajanagash - a center whose presiding diety is Chandi. She is better know as Bhudasa Chandi. In medievl times, as well, it was a seat of the Shakti cult. The place is rich is archaeological remains and antiquities.

Simlipal - is 100 kms away from Chandipur and covers and area of 2750 sq. kms. Famous in India, it is a wildlife sanctuary and one of the few Tiger Reserves o India. It is also home to Leopards, elephants Deer, Tigers, Crocodiles and Reptiles you could also find a large variety of Birds including peacocks and mynahs. Simlipal also offer breath - taking Orchids thriving in natural splendour and cool waterfalls which enhance its appeal for Tourists.
