BDA NICCO Parks and Resorts Limited - Unlimited Fun

The Bhubaneswar Development Authority and Nicco Group have promoted the joint sector company in the name of Bda Nicco Parks and Resorts Ltd. This joint sector company has set up a family entertainment park in the heart of the city of Bhubaneswar, on 25 acres of land. The park has opened to public on the 12th December 1998 by the then Chief Minister of Orissa. Mr. J.B. Patnaik. Now the park has more then twelve different riders, besides their is a Fun & Game center having several entertainment and mind boggling games. A minigolf course in the center attracts young amateurs to put the shot. Colourful flowers, lighted water fountians are visitor’s delight. The park has a multi-cusine fast food center, which can accommodate 200 people at a time. The park provides unique opportunities for the companies for enhancing their corporate image.

Many multinational companies like Pepsi, Hindustan Lever Ltd. Jenson & Nicholson, Everyday, Bata etc. along with public sector like, Bharat Petroleum, Hindustan Petroleum, Indian Oil, UTI Bank, have already make their presence by sponsoring different rides and Managing Director BDA NICCO Park thereby enhancing their bra nd equity. The park provides product launching, product demonstration, birthday parties, mega events, corporate membership etc. Nicco is green company, has its commitment towards environment. The park has got a water treatment plant and water passes through the plant, which takes care of the bacteriological presence in the lake water. Central Institute of Fresh Water and Aquaculture (CIFA) scientists and the fisheries department have released about 2,00,000 fishes and continues study is conducted by scientists.

By now the park has drawn more than nearly ten lakh visitors. The park provides many packages to the school children to visit the park. There is a Sheroo Club wherein children between three to six years of age can be come members by paying nominal fee after that they get a card, which entitles them free entry throughout the year. Last but not the least, movigores have been watching the part no big screen and electronic media. Their local heroes and heroines dancing in the beautifully laid up park garden and on the rides. The company is going for expansion by installing few more rides.
