Toshali Sands

Badajena Brajanatha Poet ( 1730-1795) of eminence. Born in Kabara village of Dhenkanal district- Author of many poetic works such as Samara Taranga, Ambika Bilas, Keli Kalanidhi, Gopi-Bilapa etc. His prose piece, Chatura Vinoda is a pionering work in the evolution of Oriya prose literature. Samara Taranga is a historical account of the military conflict of the Marathas with the ruler of Dhenkanal.
