A Package Tour on water route
Not content with the water sport alone, the Orissa Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) recently introduced a Package Tour in Water Route at Cuttak for the first time in the State. Shri Ranedra Pratap Swamin, Hon’ble Minister of Sports and Youth Services, Orissa flagged off the first ever four on 24th December, 2001. The tour from Gadagadia Ghat of Cuttack City to Dhavaleswar Island in Mahanadi, passing through a scenic water route include the Darsan of Lord Davaleswar and a Vig. Lunch at Panthsala on every Sunday and Monday between 9.30 AM to 5.00 PM subject to availability of minimum seven pax per trip. Another pacakge, “Gadagadia-Dhavaleswar Siddheswar-Sarpeswar-Dhavaleswar Gadagadia” has also been planned.
